Why See a Pediatric Dentist?
As pediatric dentists, we often see the same patients throughout their childhood. We see mothers and fathers who have been patients of this practice as children themselves. We have patients in their twenties who still come to our practice as they feel very comfortable staying with us. We have families who continually recommend us to their relatives, colleagues, and friends, and word is our predominant source of referrals.
“As a mother of a baby boy, hearing amazing feedback from a parent about a dentist would be my best guide to choosing a dentist for my child.” - Dr. Megan
As a pediatric specialty clinic, our office is customized to make children feel comfortable and at ease, with movies playing overhead, laughing gas available, and gifts and prizes for positive association and reinforcement. Our super friendly staff treat our patients like their own children and speak to them in a kid-friendly manner to make sure they understand every aspect of their oral health.
What Does Board-Certification Mean?
When a dentist is board-certified in pediatric dentistry, it means that dentist has gone through a rigorous certification process with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and is uniquely qualified to work with a pediatric population. ABPD Board-certified dentists have the proper training and skills to work with children and make sure they have positive experiences and establish a solid foundation for lifelong oral health.
